Ever dreamed of composing and recording your own music? Now you can make those dreams come true. Learn to use computer technology to compose and record your own music. Focus in any direction you'd like, from video game music to string quartets and anything in between. Each lesson comes with a free downloadable screen capture video of what you learned that week. Lessons are taught on free PC software; rental PCs are available for Mac owners. A USB MIDI keyboard, available from Cameron's Music, is recommended but not required. Ages 12 and up.

BRIAN LIMA,
INSTRUCTOR

Brian Lima received his performance and composition training as a Jazz Studies major at Wayne State University. During this time, he also studied music technology at Schoolcraft College as well as Washtenaw Community College. Understanding the growing use of computers in professional audio production, he became an A+ Certified IT Technician in 2009. Previously he earned both an Associate of Arts Degree and a Music Foundation Certificate from Schoolcraft College with classical guitar as his main instrument. He has taught all styles of guitar since 2003 and has played in various local bands since 1999.
